Sandra Klink is a freelance artist working on three dimensional pieces. Her all-consuming passion for fabrics and ornamentation has given rise to her current series of Wondrous Creatures.

Her work concentrates in the areas of the insect and lizard world. She also does a limited number of one of a kind dolls. Some sit, some stand, and others recline on furniture that she has built and upholstered.

Her creatures are made with a rich variety of fabrics including silks, tapestries, metallic, and moire. They are embellished with elaborate metallic Swiss braids, radiance plastics, beads, golden threads, rhinestones and crystals. An extensive stock of fabric has allowed her to create works of heirloom quality.

Sandra has long been a collector of images, dreams, and antiques. Her inspiration comes from the detail and grandeur of ages past. Her majestic breeds come alive dressed in the finest of silks, tapestries, and baubles waiting to take you into their world with a glance or a gesture.
